Although we are aware that great buildings always don’t make great schools but still we try to make our students’ learning hours very comfortable & pleasant. We have thoughtfully designed, well-ventilated and aesthetically decorated class rooms where furniture & fixture are as per the needs of different age-groups. The school provides 24 hours electricity back up and safe drinking water.

At JIS, we believe that no one can replace a teacher, yet to make teaching – learning process more interesting class rooms are equipped with smart boards and related software from Nursery till twelfth.

Labs:

“Learning by Doing” is one of the teaching-learning processes at J.I.S.
The school has very well equipped Science, Mathematics and Computer laboratories where students get hands on experience through experimentation and exploration. All our labs have latest apparatus to facilitate the learning of different concepts.

Library:

The school library stores books on almost all subjects relevant for students. More than 20 magazines and all major news papers have been subscribed to the advantage of students and teachers. Library is updated from time to time with the latest books, journals and magazines. This year Reading Week was celebrated in the school in April to promote reading habit. The school library hosts more than 5000 books.

Music Art and Drama:

Each JIS student is presented with the thrill of self expression through the agency of visual arts,music making and creative drama. The Music Department imparts expert instruction in the playing of both Indian and western instruments – percussion and strings. For singers there is Indian and Western group singing.
The hub of ingenuity- The Art and Craft studio is the place to be in –to see young animated minds form masterpieces from diverse material – oil paint, water colour, dyes, wax clay and even waste.

Sports Facilities :

The school has big playground which doubles up for informal occasions like winter carnivals.At any given time one can see youngsters playing badminton, cricket football volleyball kho-kho or trying their hand at table tennis. The well equipped physical instruction teachers are always present to give tips and for coaching in all sports.We have qualified Taekwondo and Skating experts who train students for Inter School matches.
